Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Grok

AI apps that support remote MCP servers can connect to your 3DAPI account directly. You add one address in the app, sign in to 3DAPI and choose what the app may do. Nothing to install and no API key to copy.

The address

Every app connects to the same address:

MCP server
https://mcp.dapi.digital/mcp

The app finds the sign-in page on its own. When it asks how to authenticate, choose OAuth, and leave any client ID or secret fields empty.

Add it to your app

  • Claude (web, desktop and mobile): open Settings, then Connectors, choose Add custom connector, name it 3DAPI and paste the address.
  • ChatGPT: open Settings, then Apps and Connectors, and create a connector with the address. Custom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan and may need developer mode turned on.
  • Grok and other MCP apps: add a remote MCP server (sometimes called a connector) with the address and sign in when asked.

Prefer running the server on your own computer with an API key? See Connect an AI assistant.

Orders and purchases

Placing orders, cancelling them and buying stock move money, so an app can only do them if you ticked Place orders and buy stock (or Place orders paid from your wallet, for integrators) on the 3DAPI page. Even then, every one is a two-step action: the app first shows you what it will cost, and nothing is charged until you confirm.

ChatGPT never gets orders and purchases, even if you tick the box. Use it to look things up and make changes, and place orders from your dashboard or another app.

Disconnect an app

Connected apps are listed under Connected apps on the API keys page of your dashboard, with the permissions you gave and when each was last used. Choose Disconnect and the app loses access at once. To change its permissions, disconnect it and connect again.
